Georgia Public Schools Set New Textbook Standards
Atlanta, GA | Georgia lawmakers have approved a sweeping program to overhaul public school curriculums statewide.
The proposed standardization would be phased in over the next several years and, once fully in place, is expected to save an estimated $5 million in annual textbook expenditures.
Similar strategies are being considered in other states including Alabama, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, N. Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
