Pentagon Strategy for
Post-Iraq Bombing
Camp As Sayliyah, QA | The Pentagon has submitted it's recommendation to Coalition Headquarters in the Persian Gulf for the most productive use of long-range bombers after penetrating Iraqi airspace.
U.S. Central Command General Tommy Franks acknowledges that a "best-case scenario" result could prove a significant deterrent against future conflict.
"Baghdad poses a minor obstacle," said Franks. "But after that, I'm confident we'll meet with little resistance."
