President Reconsiders Pre-emptive
West Nile Strike
Crawford, TX | Potential disaster was averted this week when orders phoned in from President Bush to invade what he called "The West Nile" were disregarded by staff in charge of the Washington White House.
It was later explained to the President that "West Nile Virus" is a disease transmitted by mosquitoes which causes flu-like symptoms, and not a terrorist bio-threat from somewhere in the Mideast.
An unidentified White House insider said, "This kind of thing happens more often than you might imagine. When it does, we've all learned to just ignore him."
