Halle Berry's Triumph Brings
New Hope to Beautiful Women
Hollywood, CA | Wearing a sheer bodice with strategically-placed applique flowers, actress Halle Berry delivered a message of renewed promise for gorgeous women everywhere.
As she accepted the Academy Award, Berry tearfully proclaiming, "You can be a winner, even if you were just a Miss USA runner-up."
The former model went on to say, "I accept this award for Vanessa Williams and Mariah Carey and for every young, thin, rich girl with perfect breasts and a killer bootay, whose skin isn't dark enough to threaten too many candy-ass white people."
Awards show host Whoopie Goldberg closed the segment on a lighter note, quipping, "That's real sweet, Mizz Thang. Now maybe some day a Black woman will get an Oscar."
Berry's next demanding role will be as a Bond Girl in the upcoming 007 movie "Die Another Day." And she is scheduled to begin filming "Monster's Other Ball," the sequel to her Oscar-winning performance, sometime in 2004.
