New York City, NY | Following the death of crime boss John Gotti in a Federal prison hospital in Springfield, Missouri, members of the Gambino crime family have vowed to "Whack that punk what whacked our boss."
Gotti, who was serving a life sentence for fourteen Federal convictions including murder and tax evasion, died of throat cancer at age 61.
This week, two hundred of his "close associates" have converged on various medical institutions along the East Coast, demanding to be admitted into their cancer research facilities.
One associate, who preferred to remain anonymous, said, "We know that rat bastard is hiding somewhere. We're gonna take this problem babbo to the mattresses."
Linda Winger, Vice President of Professional Services at Georgetown University Hospital, said, "They seem determined enough. Although there is a problem with breakage - most of them have a very short temper - but these days we need all the help we can get.
Winger continued, "They have absolutely no medical experience. If they wash out, at least they can always find work in the insurance industry or with HMO's."
Gotti will be buried in the Meadowlands, alongside Jimmy Hoffa under the end zone at Giants Stadium.
